  • @streetfightsecrets ...yes you mentioned leaning on stuff when kicking...this does improve balance and will work well, but your claims that it improves power are simply against the laws of physics...all you're using is the leg with no contraction of hips/flexors/bum /core etc . a decent technique of forward momentum delivered with high knee and chin down whilst kicking will be more powerful than a kick where the person is leaning off to the side

  • @ub4012345 if you have your balance covered by holding on to something, you can engage more of the muscles you mentioned specifically to delivering force forward ....without those muscles needing to be used for balance AND delivering force as with a kick without some kind of stabiliser.

  • i gnerally find your videos superb. but personally speakin i wudnt kick high to the face in a real fight. neither wud i lean back as much when kickin as showed at the end of the clip. if you lose your footing your head and shoulders are leanin way bak and ther is too much potential for you to fall backwrds. this is why kicking styles tend to advcate uprite posture when kicking. from a sport POV you can stil generate decent power in high kicks by conditioning hip flexors and working on flexibilty

  • I've used this kick a couple of times in street fights, worked just fine for me

did I mention trying to grab something to balance against whilst kicking in the clip?

  • kick in to the front of the opponent's knee cap whilist they r standing, not to sure if its legal in a match or wotever, but it fuckin gets 'em down

  • me as a brown belt would say.....there are SO many ways to end a fight....if you know how to punch and kick and you have some kombos and strong/fast muscles....the most important thing you have to do is learning how to manage with your fear....but really....on the streets you find in 99,99% of fights wannabe-gangster,who just throwing punches in the air.....sry for my bad grammar^^

Take a bow. You are just the rock star of internet "senseis" (I personally view you as an advisor, consultant, I need to get and set up a session over the net )

  • @streetfightsecrets

    Awesome side kick

. I did use that exact one in tournaments, ( had to be above the waist and it was by 1 or 2 mm LOL )

  • highkicks, love em.

mate of mine tried it on me by suprise and he did it full force. i shifted, he overturned that kick and stood with his back towards me.. frontal kick to the mid of the spine and down boy.

you gotta be quick for it, if your bigger and less fast then your opponent, forget highkicks.. use your body power for blows to the knee or side's (ribbssss)

the frontal kicks are good for creating distance as well, buys you time for a follow up.

  • @ub4012345 I abandoned high kicks for that reason! But now I use them if you have fast feet and hands 95% of the time no one sees the kick comming. Just set it up 1st IMHO I like the front snap or heal kick a lot. When combined with a bunch of quick punches. Then heal kick em up the center, it's pritty much a KO every time.

  • @jabcrossdany as a brown belt myself, i found that very inspiring. thanx mate!

  • @elainesman mate these are street fights, the average pikey who wants to fight you will not be trained and if you connect with the kick he'll be too fucked to even retaliate anyway

  • wat do u do if they grab ure foot ?

  • @streetfightsecrets yeah i agree we learned in wrestling if a guy grabs your ankle lean in and grapple them and i've used it in street fights and got out of their grip
