  • Magic?

Her entire audience is limited to angry, dysfuntional, childless women who live with cats!!!!!

  • The bad news is that there will be a huge civil war in Iraq and millions of people are going to die.

The good news is Amy Goodman is going to write a best selling book blaming the whole thing on Jewish Republicans.

  • i watch videos with her this morning i like her

shes not a feminist though am i right? i mean she would enjoy a stiff one innit, cause i would give it to her hardcore

  • I can testify as well to the extreme insulation of Americans thanks to corporate media. Even those who label themselves as liberals incorporate common mythologies that NPR and CNN spread. They have the same visceral and emotional reaction to the call for objective measures and judgements and they are just as quick as 'conservatives' to denounce information they haven't even seen that could lead to conclusions different then their own.

  • another big discussion that needs to be addressed about, is in Dr Agha Saeed implicitly posed question. MUST developing countries take the U.S. model as a vision of modernity? But in regards to my previous comment i'll have to agree with the major insulation that U.S. suffers in regards to world coverage. we rarely hear any news from Mexico or Canada and they are connected, let alone other countries. We need to demand a new media system. Thanks Amy for your hard work and Dr Saeed for your study.

  • Is Dr Agha Saeed trying to make a case for the superiority of Indian information outlets? I think his critical analysis of US media is good, we need to hear opinions of others in the world and how they function and how they perceive U.S. But one must also question where Indian media outlets are better and where they are defecit. We cant think that there truly is 1 uptopian society. Societies are all manipulated in some way by media, and who runs those outlets.

  • need more of this.

  • im sorry, i mean she, but it honestly doesnt make a difference jamieblonde isnt even a real person anywyas...

  • if you support republicans and figures on the right, then why dont you join the military and go fight to supposedly "protect our country" Your either a payed lobyist or a right wing brat who really knows nothing about the world. Have you ever even been to another country before? Doubt it... Go eat your 70$ steak and drink your 90$ bottle of wine you ignorant little pig and leave this stuff to people who can read...

  • jamieblonde is most likely a paid employee of some lobbying firm. and if not hes just one of those annoying rightwing trustfund kids who looks for the smallest things to pick out of progressive news sources. Either way, disregard what he says, watch, then decide what you think.
