Vista sucks(if I'am now sitting with doesn't mean its good...) good old XP heres the answer, but dont be scared to use Linux its aint for GEEKS!

dumbest thing? i have linux and xp on the same comp, linux is fucking slow and i have everything on low. none of that special effects. let me tell you, in order to install ubuntu, i had to buy some more ram because i only had 238 ram. xp was working fine with that amount of ram.....
don't tell me linux works 2x faster on half the resource because it uses 2x the resource but works only half fast

windows xp is alot faster and requires less ram to run. i have ubuntu and its slower than xp. dual boot ftw :D

Fair point. As i was testing on 3 different PC's i just used movie maker, old habits die hard. I actually use kdenlive now on Ubuntu 8.10
