  • No wonder rock n roll is so great ' cause it gets its roots from great soul and rhythm and blues like this..

  • Otis! MY MAN! After him & Sam Cooke everyone else will always be second rate. They both left way too early.

  • Jazz + Rock + Rock 'n' Roll + Soul + Love = Blues!

  • @Youarewatchinme Don't forget Marvin Gay & Stevie Wonder! ;)

  • It doesn't get any better than Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Johnny Taylor, Wilson Pickett, (Let's not forget Clarence Carter's "Slip Away"), Aretha Franklin, Percy Sledge, James Brown, or Sammy Davis Jr, OR Gladys Knight and the Pipps, Curtis Mayfield, Temptations, ....man. . . the list could go on forever. .. but how I wish they would wipe the radio clean and bring this back. I think it would help the whole World Peace movement. :)
