Recorded on June 8 and June 10, 2004. This video is shot almost entirely from behind the wheel of the car. My journey begins as I leave San Antonio on I-10. The journey continues for over 300 miles on I-10 stopping in Sonora and Ozona at the Davy Crockett Monument. I exit I-10 onto US-67 and travel south to Alpine. Then on June 10 I leave Alpine heading north on Texas Highway 118 where I later pass through the town of Fort Davis. The video concludes as I continue north on Texas highway 54 and pass through the town of Van Horn.

there is nothing like riding out I-10 at night, with the light traffic, star filled skies and the quiet, with only WOAI on the radio. its best to have somebody to talk to or you will go to sleep though. one thing about it, you can pull over between the parked trucks in the overnight parking areas and rest. nobody will mess with you, all the drivers are armed. imgine, not a town over 10,000 for hundreds of miles.

Keep going west and pass thru Crockett County (Ozona area) and you will get pulled over at 78 mph, as it drops when you approach Ozona. These are Texas Hwy Patrols and if it is officer Dalton, get 50$ bill stuck to your license and he will get u off with may be just a warning....A highway robbery......by Highway Patrol.
