  • (cont'd)I am disturbed by the way you used scientific jargon to mislead people by introducing a principle you clearly do not understand and extrapolate it to being an effective treatment for an unrelated condition.

  • (cont'd ) Also at the end of this video you say that somone who injured their hamstring would benefit from this treatment. Injuring your hamstring is not the same as having an altered flexor withdrawal reflex. Surely you know this. Furthermore the spinothalamic tract is a sensory ascending pathway, so signals travel up it, not down it.

  • I don't think so, the spine is very complicated, I like it better that we have doctors AND people that specialize in JUST this =)

  • the only good thing about this vid is....the model.

  • @weversonman Hell yes!

  • Hey "Doctor"

an intersegmental reflex arc such as the flexor withdrawal reflex sends interneurons up and down the spinal cord at the levels that innervate the muscle . It does NOT start in the brain and travel down the "spinothalamic reticular" tractsince reflexes arc signals do not ever reach the brain. So I question what effect your cold laser would have on a flexor withdrawal reflex.
