I'm 19 years old and I recognize people with soul. I discovered him for myself when I heard "Treat You Like A Queen" from his album Love In Stereo. I could listen to that song for days and not get tired of it. But I play bass and I am influenced by Marcus Miller, the King of bass players with Soul. He reminds me of Marcus with his totality of soul within his singing. One of my favorite parts is at 1:46. That is a tight riff he does. It screams soul as well as his face. Power to Soul musicians!

Rahsaan said in an interview with Michael Baisden that some of his influences were PRINCE, CHAKA KHAN and AL JARREU. I can hear touches of them mixed in with his own unique and wonderful voice. Work it brutha!

@blessed4028 i dont think hes underrated at all. he's one of the top in neo soul. i dont think he wasnt to do more of a public shit. such as beyonce and such. its very shitty to even compare beyonce and him.
