My Dodge Carvan 2001 - Error Codes

I got this 2001 Dodge Caravan 3.3L V6 i got it rebated cos the day she sold me the car the speedometer and gear change stopped working.
Then after 2 weeks the Speedometer would go Berserk, 20 to 200 to 0 to 200 and the motor would stall when in gear.

I changed the Speed Sensor on the gearbox since i saw someone with similar symtoms.
but it didnt fix the problem.

So i looked in a repair manual and found out how to get the error codes.

P1684 - Battery dissconnected 50 last starts(had CT change sparkplugs)

P0601 - Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error (PCM)

P0500 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction (+ABS light)

P1698 - No CCD Messages Received From PCM

you can replace the pcm from a donor van without a smik set up (key must be gray not black) then reset the ecu by turning on the headlights after disconnecting the black battery cable that should fix both the p0601 and the p1698 codes.
