These crazy looking bugs used to terrify me as a child. Now i think they are great! They are a type of very large, flightless cricket. They seem to eat a wide range of foods in captivity including some vegetables, waffles, and each other!

This video is more just getting used to shooting in semi high definition than an actual "bug lesson", per se... hope you enjoy it none-the-less :)

  • @castro24g some grasshoppers (not too distantly related from these guys... kind of) do make a poisonous spittle, but not of them are even close to deadly to humans. in fact, just recently i tried tasted some grasshopper "tobacco juice"... it was kind of nasty tasting but i suffered no ill affects.

  • stupid people these things are very poisonous even more than scorpions, stop being stupid and let them go.

  • @gimaca damn, i hope you are joking. these things are absolutely not poisonous. any entomology book or website will tell you that. it is ignorant ppl like you that mess things up for the world. thanks, asshole :)
