Battlefield 3 News (3 newstories):
-Possible Spectator Mode Announcement? USAS-12 With Frag Rounds Update

Community Manager, Daniel Matros, recently spoke of ClanBase's Nations Cup... he stated, "Nations Cup is exciting. It would even be more exciting with Spectator mode."

Matros later followed up saying, "calm down now. It's been a wish and an ambition of mine since way back to have spectator mode in our future games."

To be clear, he mentioned that there has been "nothing confirmed or said yet."

Matros did mention earlier today, "new stuff happening. Good day today. Fans well be in for a treat later on."

USAS-12 shotgun with fragmentation rounds:
Daniel Matros stated that DICE is "checking out how to balance it."
Senior Gameplay Designer, Alan Kertz, mentioned that "shotgun buck is effective IRL out to 30m or more with good chokes. Slugs 100m or more," to keep things in perspective.

YouTube user Homer49 posted a video of him playing BF3 on the Playstation Vita. It was been played on the PS3, and then remotely being played using Remote Play on the PSVita.

I think playing on console as a sniper makes the gameplay more valuable , because it is much harder to aim with a controller, rather than mouse and keyboard.
