Leo Notenboom of http://ask-leo.com explains what Remote Desktop is and how it can be used.

Remote Desktop is, pretty much, what it sounds like: the ability to access the desktop of one computer from another. But words don't do it justice, so let's use video and see if we can't make the concept clearer.

  • Hm... Leo I can't connect the user is not on my network, and when I go to see

available computers in the Remote Desktop Connection and I'm trying to double click

on "WORKGROUP" its saying: The WORKGROUP domain/workgroup does not contain any

    Terminal servers."

I'm really confused I just want to do a simple desktop remote control

  • If you create a user and pass for the remote desktop, will it change the user and pass of my desktop?

  • when the computer is turned off, it will say that the computer is off or that the name of the computer doesn't exist...there are no public computer that can be turned on by another computer....if it's completely turned off...

  • Nicely done, but doesn't cover the set up steps necessary to make it work.

  • Hi Leo, everytime i try to connect, the computer says that i cán't connect, i don't know why, can you help me?

  • Dear Leo,I've managed to connect to the other computer (remote), but the guy tells me that as soon as I access it, his windows logs him out and if he tries to log back on, the session drops out and finishes the connection. If however he simply stays logged of windows, then I can maintain the session, do you know what I'm referring to?

  • wat if the pc is turned off?

i need help please respond soon
