The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time-Fire Temple Boss Battle-Volvagia

With the Megaton Hammer now in your possesion, you can now confront the boss that guards over the Fire Temple and who is also held responsible for keeping the Gorons hostage:the subterranean lava dragon, Volvagia.

Out of all the boss battles that I have played throughout Ocarina of Time, I think that this one has to be probably the most brutal. (Whack-a-dragon, anyone? :P)

Battle strategy:As stated above, use the Megaton Hammer once to smash Volvagia's head into the ground, then use it again to smash the head into the same, exact spot. When she (I know that Volvagia is a he, but I much rather prefer to call her a she) flies up into the air and causes boulders to crash down onto the battlefield below, you can use your Bow & Arrows to bring her back down faster, but that's purely optional.

Keep repeating the process, until Volvagia sinks back down into the lava pit that she is currently sticking her head up out of, flies into the air and performs a "Figure 8" and her scaly flesh will burst into flame, eating away at it until it leaves nothing but her skeletal structure and Goron-eating head.

When volvagia comes out to breathe fire of cause a rock slide, climb down the walls of the arena and stay there (you can climb and hold onto them) It's a lot easier.
