@artemortis Hmmm. I'm from Hungary, and the main melody typical hungarian folk-feeling - and we have roots from east too. Anyway, the original song can be found here freevlog.hu/video/10128.html

@leere9 Why? I dare say it sounds not only Balkan but very Arabic. And I am from the Balkans and should know :D Don't get me wrong - it is brilliant, one of my all-time favorite songs, but Faun gave it very oriental feeling

@Construct78 balcan feeling? Are you joking? :D :D :D

Nagy jó feldolgozás! Szép lett! :)
(Ha nem tudnám a címét, nem mondanám meg, hogy magyarul énekel, de ettől függetlenül gyönyörű! :D)

This is an old Hungarian folk song from today's Slovakia, near Nitra.
In those villages, they would often sing about the young couples, to help them get and stick together. At Midsummer for example, they would walk around and sing these songs, saying the names of one couple in one verse, another couple's names in another verse, etc.
This Potus Anni and Kostyál János must have been famous sweethearts for some reason, because several songs remained with their names.
