DARFUR REFUGEES FIND POLITICAL ASYLUM IN ISRAEL (Doc. Trailer)

We are currently in the production stage of B'nai Darfur. This documentary reveals the stories of survival and the daily lives of the refugees of the genocide in Darfur , Sudan, that have made the treacherous trek to Israel by foot through the Sinai desert crossing the Egyptian border to Israel in search of a safe heaven. They run away from racism and human rights abuse in Sudan and Egypt.

Giving faces to the headlines, B'nai Darfur will address issues that are at the core of the Darfur genocide, lending insight on what is really going on in the region, why the genocide is going on, while the international community hasn't been able to stop it.

While their long term asylum status in Israel is not clear, the Darfurian communityl is thankful to Israel and whenever being interviewed, its members express their gratitude and surprise to the fact that from all the Muslims countries , it was the Jewish state that assisted them, despite being Muslim themselves, citizens of Sudan- a nation oficially hostile to Israel. The tremendous humanitarian assistance and support that Darfuris received from civilian Israeli society is reflected in their stories.

In the documentary will show how the Darfurian refugees are a thriving, strong, positive community, adjusting itself to its new reality, establishing a non-profit humanitarian organization to assist themselves, called "B'nai Darfur" (Sons of Darfur).

@EncompassedRunner not so strange, this is the Jewish way, they do not discriminate when people are in need. The media, politicians accuse them of discrimination - there is so much misinformation, so many lies about Israel. Israel is not perfect but does far more than most. I love Israel and may Israel live forever.

This is very sure. For some reason the west seems obsessed with condemning Israel's self defense and obsessed with investigating Israel's every move. This political obsession has reverted everyone's attention to the poor, needy victims in Darfur, and many other victims all over the world. Everyone is just too busy protecting terrorists. There is no such thing as "the black race" there are dark people, and they belong to many different ethnic groups which can be lumped together as "african". Genetic drift hasn't allowed for a "black race" anymore than it has for a "white race". This race shit, is bullshit.

Historicaly people have seperated, and come back together constantly. This is why we are a single species, and it's part of how punctuated equilibrium works.

If we are, as teh muslims of teh mid east say, a bunch of murdering, genocidal, fascists, in Israel then why do we go out of teh way and take in these people who desparately need help, help I should add that teh US, EU and UN have not been readily to give? Perhaps the truth is that what you may have heard about Jews/Israel is not true. May be we are not so bad. Re-think the propaganda and learn facts.
