Flying in Dinosaur in July makes for awesome XC potential. The day before this, I flew 101 miles to Hayden, and the day after, my buddy flew 127 miles to Steamboat!

Dinosaur, CO is in Northwestern Colorado just east of the Utah line.

Depends on where you learn. Lessons very in both time & expense depending on your location. Lower elevations and those close to the ocean have thicker air and consistent mild winds making flying/learning easier (warm weather also helps). Then there's how much the cost of living is in the area. I would plan on $2000 for lessons but it will very. When ready you can get a used beginning glider & harness for under $2000 if you keep your (or your instructor/dealer's) eyes and ears open.

  • How much does it cost to get started in hang gliding?

  • Very nice flight. Where is it?

  • thanks!greatship great flight.
