Your an Idiot

There's nothing questionable here. Mike's STV ran 141.2 on radar and 143.5 on GPS in this video, and has ran 151.5 MPH to date. They don't put this stuff in the news, because idiots will show up and get in the way. Search for "Extreme Marine" for better footage of Hank's blowover. Check out my outboard videos too.

This very event was on The Discovery Channel one night. They Interviewed the guy that blew over. There's not a whole lot of debating that. And yes that boat really can go 140+. Just saw that comment below that pretty much says the same exact thing.

well it was on discovery channel. It was a show about crashes. The intro talked about the top end shoot out that scream and fly hosted in the suwannee river and then showed the blow over and interviewed the driver. Id say thats pretty legit.
what rpm and weight of the boat.
This i s freshwater.... wonder what the speed it coul reach in seawater:-)

@heggernes32 the boat is a chip boat specially built by Mr. Lampkin when he owned STV for Mike Dixon. I believe high 400's to low 500's weight w/o rigging. I dont know his exact rpms, but he was concerned it would not turn over 9k on the 135mph pass and said it was set up to turn around 9700 rpms. Hope this helps.

yes, it is a 2.5/heavily modified 300drag. HP is high 300's to low 400's and a 200hp shot of nitrous.

Cool shot, but is that guy okay? Pretty unpleasant flip that one!

yes, he was ok. He was wearing a lifeline, helmet, kill switch and we also had an EMT in the radar boat who was in the water seconds after the blow over. Even with all of that, he was truly blessed that day to walk away with only bruises. Thanks for the comments.
