A short interview & and performance on both electric & acoustic guitars by Steve Stevens. Circa 1991-1992? when he was working with Michael Monroe, in between disbanding his solo band the 'Atomic Playboys' & then going to work with 'Vince Neil' in 1993. The guitar Steve is playing, the electric is a Jackson Dinky bodied Strat head with the Skeletons Ball of 1493 graphics.

  • @TheDriveMaster he's definitely got an interesting style there. Unusual for a rock guitarist.

  • DAMN!

  • Steve Stevens is nine kinds of underrated!

  • Your a fuckin snob.

  • I LOVE STEVE STEVENS HE IS A VERY GREAT GUTARIST

  • I've always said ~ If I'm ever reincarnated... please don't let me come back as Steve Stevens' guitar pick. It would be a short 'next life'... that guy must wear a pick down to a nub in about 3 songs. =)

  • I love that guy

  • @preciousbash Yep! Rock on!!! :-)

    \--/

  • What a trip: Big chunks of what he's playing on the electric - 0:57 - 1:24 and 1:37 - 1:50 - became part of his acoustic live solo piece 'Dementia' he put on the 'Flamenco A Go-Go' album. I didn't know he had all this 10 years earlier already!

    Steve, you are DA SHIT!

  • Man is this guy amazing on guitar or what?

Read somewhere that when DLR left VH, Steve Stevens was Roth's first choice.

  • I thinkl that is why I love Steve because he never rests on the electric embelishments and I love accoustic and he is very true that style. He really pulls the sounds fromt he instrument.

Teh layering, the levels...everything. He does not need to rest on pedals and wa-wa( although he uses them)..theya re no crutch!! LOVE YA STEVE. I am not into Rock guitars ...but I love your palying. It's the best!!!
