This year's National HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) Day will be observed on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 with the "New Year, New Life" motto and under the theme "HIV Free Babies and Parents' Responsibilities in knowing their HIV Status." As in previous years, HCT Day activities will kick off at the Meskel Square Celebrations where couples and parents-to-be will be encouraged to get tested and know their HIV status so that they can be better prepared to protect their babies from HIV.
