They decide to make a movie on their own. Eastern Iowa?! I see Van Horne is noted - are these Benton Community students!?

Dennis (the director) is a Benton Community alumni, but his kids (who wrote the screenplay) live in Tennessee. All footage was shot in Van Horne, Iowa at their grandparents house.

This brings together great acting, screenwriting, cinematography, and a compelling score. Though there is action, adventure and sci-fi, this movie touches a subtler nerve about one of the most universal questions in existence: "What should we make a movie about?" I recommend it. One of the year's 2 million best movies! Haley and Jared give a fine debut. It's great to see Dennis Lambing on the screen again. It's been 20 years since his television series was cancelled but he's better than ever!
