Preface: This video is a musical cover of a copyrighted song. It is for educational and criticisizing purposes, which is covered under Fair Use.

Now that that's out of the way:

My cover of Megadeth's "Sweating Bullets." I didn't record myself playing this time, because I'm trying out a new audio capture method. In the future, when I get my camera back, I can capture the audio from the capture device, and the video from the camera, so you're not staring at the album cover.

  • Wow, the one and ONLY good Bass cover I find of this, the person is not even on screen, lol!!!

This is a serious question so please reply!!!

Here goes: The breakdown at 2:25 do you hit the fat E? I've seen good tabs that use the F note on the first fret and then down to the E, which doesn't make sense to me at all. And since yours is really the best I've heard all night, I figure your opinion will count the most.

    Thanks for your time!

  • @TheFith

thanks very much, i appreciate it

as for your question, yes, i am hitting the open E the entire time at 2:25. depending on your point of view, this breakdown can sound like either 7 open E's, or 6 F's and 1 open E. honestly, just because of the distortion and effects on the guitar, its ambiguous and hard to tell. i personally think that its seven open E's.

  • @Hommerhart david ellefson series peavey

  • whats your bass ,?

  • @WarFreak131 Thank you, man! I agree. I think it is the E. I tried finding vids of Dave Eleffeson (sp?) but mostly just catch a glimpse of him on that part, and he's nowhere near that F on the first fret. :-)

    Thanks again!
