I do this at work every day. the D530 is notorious for this, its actually a Diode failure, in most cases when I open them up. We make sure to let the new guys plug those in the first day :D

I remember when that happened to me. I was so frightened. I was so intensified and my hands were still shaking.

My company has 5 or 6 machines just like that, and we lost the power supplies on two of them to a bang and a smoke.
