Working people from all over Wisconsin showed up in solidarity today to oppose Scott Walker's radical and insane 'Budget Repair Bill.' Our republican governor has declared war on the working class by seeking to eliminate our strong progressive history of collective bargaining rights for state workers. My favorite sign read, 'BUCKY DOESN'T BUST UNIONS' Fighting Bob is no doubt spinning in his grave at the moment, but I have confidence that the people united can defeat the madness happening in Wisconsin. Forward!

  • 30 years of supply side economics, tax cuts for millionaires, tax cuts for corporations, tax cuts on capital gains, no taxes on derivatives (oil speculation), and weak or non existence financial and commodity trading regulations have resulted in ecomonic instability and near financial collapse impacting the entire working middled class of our republic. Not everyone has shared this burden. The rich have not only stolen our wealth, they now reign over us as we fight among ourselves like serfs.

  • @katequeef

you sound smart. you are so articulate and well informed. maybe you need another few years in school, though.

    idiot.

  • A big thanks to everyone protesting in Madison!! Many others who can't make it are there with you in spirit!! Keep up the good fight!! Cheers! Jeff

  • Thank you, Wisconsin!

With no collective bargaining rights in Ga., the Public Safety Dept, and Public School system employees here sue their employer over grievances. The cost effectiveness of this method of doing business is so much lower than mediation procedures established within Union and collective bargaining policies.

My county, ergo its citizens, now pay 3 superintendent salaries, and 27 fired sheriffs, plus their attorneys millions in city and property taxes.

  • Look at all the ingrates!

  • umm killing a piece of paper or pile of papers isnt it possible knowing paper isnt a living thing. I hope someone doesn't kill someone over that!

  • "Kill the Bill?" Sounds like violent rhetoric to me. I am sure that type of language is going to cause some radical liberal in that crowd or watching this video to ACTUALLY KILL SOMEONE!!! Nice work! You should be ashamed. This type of violent rhetoric is akin to pulling the trigger of the gun used in the next murder in WI.
