Trailer for a 30-minute documentary film recounting a journey to Iquitos and into the heart of the Peruvian Amazon made by Los Angeles artist Pascal Giacomini (and creator of the Earth Jagua temporary black tattoo kit) in search of the indigenous Matsés people and the elusive jagua fruit, which they traditionally use to adorn their bodies. The juice from this fruit stains the skin black in a way that resembles a permanent tattoo, but the color lasts only a few weeks and then fades away.
