@beckmangroup I agree with kamal. I really like Beck's original material. I also _love_ all of Beck's covers of the Skip Spence material, but Velvet Underground are so well-known and well-covered, he's under more pressure to be original, but the unfortunate result is nothign about what made the original good is present here, but he didn't put the same amount of energy as he would into an original.

this version's alright if you get the original outta your head when you listen to it...... Velvets are not the easiest band to cover

I love VU's first album but I thought this was far & away the worst track on it. This version is top, mind, in comparison (& mercifully brief!).

@beckmangroup the legit reason for hating would be that it doesn't (or at least they don't think) it sounds good. It's as simple as that..
