I am not sure of the exact date, my camera says it was May 25th 2010. This is on I-95 but I do not recall if we were north or south bound, it was very near of Ft. Pierce (Exit 129ish).
A car traveling in the other direction crossed the median after being cut off and was struck broadside by a pickup truck in the left lane on our side. The car was ripped into half literally, the front end remaining near the initial impact and the rest of it traveling with the pickup truck whom came to a rest on the right shoulder.
The driver of the car was killed instantly.
