I think all the greats have totally ripped fronts....look at these two...their fronts look like stone.

@RuffianQueenOfRacing I just read two articles in which Beyer said Ruffian was the fastest female of all time, and I would have to agree with him.
-
@EASYGOER4LIFE andy beyer said ruffian was fastest he had seen

@EASYGOER4LIFE Your right, they shared the same stall. Never got the chance to see any of those great horses and glad to hear you did. I bet that was something else. I really like Secretariat and the others as well. Man 0' War, Kelso, Secretariat & The Easy were the best of having stamina and speed. Were a few very good other ones too. The Dr., The Bid and Slew had nowhere the stamina the big 4 had. I dont know were they claim Slew as being a super fast hrose. His record does not show that.

@rscarbro100 West Virginia, good for you my man.Secretariat was the greatest horse of all time, I got to see Secretariat at Claiborne Farm a few times, a masterpiece of a horse. I got to see Easy Goer at Claiborne Farm also before he passed away so young. Bold Ruler,Secretariat and Easy Goer shared the same number 1 stall in the number 1 barn at Claiborne Farm.

@EASYGOER4LIFE West By God Virginia my good man. I used to go to old Kentuck many times. To old to travel much these days. Talk to many cousins there. Mom & Day got married in K.Y. I think you picked on hell of a winner in the Big Easy good buddy and I am not really a Pat Day fan either.I love to give these Aussies hell here on youtube. Phar Lap was a great horse but in no way IMO is close as good as Secretariat, Easy Goer and more.

@rscarbro100 I am having fun too! Where are you from??...Well consistent, I think he was? Why you ask? In his "bad races",EG got beat by two lengths&a little over a length, both over a peanut buttery Churchill track(I think his trainer said he hated one track,Churchill Downs only),&his one other "bad race" was in the Met Mile where Ray Paulick wrote in his book that EG was "lame for the Met Mile race". Easy Goer ran the other 17 of his 20 races brilliantly,14 brilliant wins, losses by nose, neck

@EASYGOER4LIFE My grandpa was from Olive Hill, Carter county and grandma from Greenup county. Maybe we might be cousins.(smile)

@rscarbro100 You quote Bill Finley on the Gotham and don't quote what he also wrote "Easy Goer going BEYOND MERE BRILLIANCE and capable of running far faster, in only his second start as a three year old." Oh back to Andy Beyer?? Big deal, ANDY BEYER stated "EASY GOER was the fastest two and three year old since Secretariat, and Easy Goer was better and faster at two and three years old than Seattle Slew,Affirmed,Bid."

@rscarbro100 ANDY BEYER STILL SAYS, "EASY GOER is the fastest two and three year old since Secretariat, and Easy Goer ran better and faster than Slew,Affirmed and Bid did." Beyer still says this. So what's your point. EVERY "expert" is contradictory in their words?????
