Political correctness is political bullshit. Get over. You don't have to accept it, and it's not pushing it on you. It comes down to whether you let it get to you. If I say go kill yourself, is that pushing it on you? No. But if I held a gun to your head then yes, that is pushing it. Saying words is not pushing anything. If somebody said Happy Hanukkah to me, and I'm Christian, I wouldn't care. I would be like cool, thanks for including me in. I could go on, but I won't...

my point being that i think you do push your religion on people, even though you said you didn't; and that's not very nice in my opinion.
why don't you count New Years as a holiday? it's on the calendar, same as Christmas.
also, i'd like to ask you get angry when someone gets upset with you for saying Merry Christmas?

in a way, you are pushing your religion on other people by saying Merry Christmas. It's like if a Jewish person told you Happy Hanukkah. I bet you'd be like, "What? Why did he/she tell me that? I don't celebrate Hanukkah! " Saying Happy Holidays is also appropriate in government places, where greeting someone with a religious salutation is just plain wrong. I hope you don't think I'm ranting here. ;p
December 25th is Pagan holiday anyways! It originally had nothing to do with Christianity. :D

Like I said, It's not that I have a problem with people saying happy hanukkah it's when they get upset with me for saying merry christmas. I'm going to say merry christmas because thats what I celebrate, if they wish to respond with happy hanukkah then thats fine.
