Tommy Heart meanwhile participated in a singing contest organized by the company Gillette. He was finally chosen from among 300 contestants to sing their theme song „Gillette -- für das Beste im Mann". Thanks to Tommy's distinctive, trademark voice, sales figures skyrocketed. Nonetheless, Tommy stayed true to himself knowing that an even broader success was just around the bend: the second Fair Warning album "Rainmaker" sold 65.000 units on its release day alone and marched straight up the charts. Two weeks later, the boys from Hanover received a gold award followed by another successful tour shortly after. The 1997 follow-up "Go!" also went gold, winning the prestigious "Album Of The Year" poll. In Europe, the band played live with big names like Status Quo, C.C.R. or Saga and was able to expand its fan base. In 1998, the amazing live album "Live & More" was released and the band once again took off for Asia -- an exceptional tour on which Tommy again proved that he belonged in the ranks of the top singers and performers - just listen to the a cappella middle part of Fair Warning's live classic "Don't Give Up".....
