These idiots did not even get the docking tube on straight... where are the interlock flaps? Looks like a 5 year old put it back together. These guys ruined it.

hopefully this model will be featured in "Prometheus" (imagine the throwback ... another Ridley Scott film using the same prop 30 years later) 0_0

@HackerGuitarist From what I heard of other prop makers you work your way up. Adam Savage started in theatre props learning as much as he could.
Industrial Light and Magic helps too.

They left a Sci-Fi treasure that goes right up there with the Millennium Falcon and the USS Enterprise outside for 20 years?! If I saw that thing I would've stolen it.
