No matter how powerful we are as a nation. As a nation we need to address our failings, and to do that you have to admit the failures. any sane socialist today will tell you that both China and Russia were complete failures because the upper class attitudes of rich capitalists were reproduced in the vanguard parties which were supposed to be for protecting the system from outside threats

however they will also tell you that the economics DID work when the politics didn't interfere and that we didn't move from feudalism to capitalism all in one smooth stroke either, maybe do some reading instead of cutting wide swathes of logic
