This is a very popular essay which encapsulates the issue of how feminism has affected many mens lives. Whilst I do not feel as strongly as the man who wrote this, I can say that I relate to a lot of it.

The bottom line is that in that feminism can hurt men and thus can hurt women as well.

Ever notice all the anti-white male bias going on?

For the most-part, it's anti-straight-white-male bashing on TV, especially commercials and sitcoms, so if you're not a flaming gay guy, then you're just a fat, beer-drinking sports-fan doofus slob who can't get anything right and chronically fails at life.

But if you're a black male, or a gay white male or a women, then you have all the brains and common sense in the world and life is good.

Women are always right, white males are just dumbfucks.

i started hating women when i heard aggresive feminists talk. But the thing that made me finally completely give up was when i heard about these so called "tough girls" aka women in the military. If there is one thing that provokes me, it is when women try to be as physically tough as a man. Whats the point in being a man when women only want to take your manhood away from you?

I'm sorry but that won't happen until we men stand up for our rights just the same as the original Feminists did. That won't happen until men as a whole realize that men are now the 2nd-class citizen and THAT won't happen until men decide to stop watching the media whether it is the news, TV shows and movies as most of them have alot of anti-male material. It's all a domino effect for the most part.

Everything here seems so true... I hate man-bashing feminist because of how they portray other women, yet somehow it seems socially acceptable? I feel sad whenever I hear about another man being so mistreated by women simply because they're men that they start hating women. Not all women are like that, just like how there are some "men" who are bad, but not all of them are. The gender war needs to stop if we are to progress as a society that is truly equal to both.

Get out of the West. I feel like you, too. When I lived in California, I loved women, wanted to love women, and respected women. However, I've gotten mistreated and ignored by women all the time that I became less and less romantic and loving towards them. I made the decision to move to Taiwan and have started regaining the romantic feelings I used to have for women. The women here are feminine, caring sweethearts. I hope it's not too late to salvage me. GET OUT!
