@MatKiller1197 I prefer solid states for cleans and tubes for heavy stuff. but I can't afford both so I settled for a solid state Laney HCM30. Sounds really nice, but if I had the money I'd get a nice Marshall or Peavey, but as with my case I have bills to pay and mouths to feed so I have to settle with a solid state. It's just a matter of preference whether you like tubes or solid states, both are good type of amps, it's all up to the guitar player :D

@ermonski thanks man you helped :) so which amps do you like? solid or tube?
-
@MatKiller1197 solid state are amps that has the sounds and tones generated from chips and transistors (as opposed to tube amps which rely on vacuum tubes to achieve full tone). Celestions are a brand of speakers.
feel free to correct me in case I'm wrong :D

and also don't put a lot of stuff on the amp or else it fucks up the signal
-
i have a stupid question. what does a solid state amp mean and what does a celestion speaker mean?
-
Can you use it with a Line-6 spider IV 15?
-
you did change the led didnt you?
-
@95blake59 you're right it does sound a lot different, but not necessarily bad. people have used them through solid state amps to mimic the sound of a vintage tube amp.
-
@BlueSkies1 not necessarily. it could give off infrared light so it looks blue.
-
if you have the blue LED that means you have the keeley mod so this isnt what the pedal sounds like out of the box
so you can use this with a solid state amp?
