Hops project update 2

Second update of my first year of growing hops, they have been in the ground for two months, planted on MAY 5 2009 and this was filmed on JULY 5. first update was June 5. alot of growth in the last month

Too bad about your Willamette. I wouldn't have thought rabits would eat hops.

Your other bines are doing pretty good, the Cascade is turning into quite the monster!

I'll replant the Willamette next spring, the cascade bine on the left is now 2 foot over the top of the trellice

Wow I'm jealous!! I planted mine but they are only 2 feet tall so far. It has been really cold here this summer in northern Michigan.

With 1st year Cascades growing like that, you had better watch out for next year. Mine grew about 8 or 9 feet last year in their first year, and this year 20 feet or more.
