It's amazing there is always at least one person who comments on the "facts" but always gets them incorrect. The USA was never defeated on Vietnamese turf. After TET, N. VN was ready to give it up...(they still admit that today). They had lost well beyond a million troops. However, politics and public displeasure here forced the withdrawal, and VN is very well aware that's what "won the war" for them. I served as a draftee....hated it, but did it. That's all I have to add.
