@SeerSucker1981 The componist of Ballin' the jack is Chris Smith I believe
@drummerlead the song is from 1913....the first dixieland recording was 1917. I believe the song was introduced by Eddie Cantor originally. It is synonymous with his song list.

My mother did a solo sing/dance in a recital when she was 5, 1960!

in a show i did with my theater group, i got to sing this song with 2 other girls! it was fun:)
