This is my favorite scene of any episode of Atlantis. You don't even have to be a McShep shipper to love it, because it just highlights beautifully the friendship between these two which is part of the core of the show. Not to mention David Hewlett is amazing in this episode.
Couldn't agree more with you on how canceling this is a colossal mistake.

Precisely, I personally am not a McShep shipper, but think that their friendship is a great thing to watch, and this scene shows that perfectly.
