The Battle was in 2 Parts, I show you the second part when Octavian and Antony fight against Brutus and Cassius in 43 B.C

The other murderers had been taking suicide or being killed in previous battles!

Strenght:

Octavia, 65.000 Heavy Infantry, 5000 Cavalry
Antony, 50.000 Heavy Infantry 15.000 Cavalry
Togheter; 135.000 Soldiers, 19 Legions

Brutus, 60.000 Heavy Infantry 2500 Cavalry
Cassius, Around 40-45.000 Heavy Infantry and 7500 Cavalry
Togheter; 110.000 Soldiers, 17 Legions

Losses:

Octavian And Antony;
Around 25-40.000 Soldiers Dead or Wounded, It's pretty Unkown

Cassíus† And Brutus†, 75.000 Dead, Almost sure, The Rest took suicide or gave up, Crassus took suicide, Brutus Took suicide.

The Battle was pretty big! But a very good battle!

Enjoy!

  • did anyone enjoy the music over the actual video?

  • @drunk168 online battle

  • The guy with the banner running to the left on his own at 3:48 cracks me up, quick as hell, vroooom!

  • @Lesnar316F5 well yes but Ceaser was first citizen right?

  • Well this is a bit wrong... At battle of Philippi romans did not wear imperial armors... More accurate would be chainmail Early legionary cohort in rtw...

  • @jgrocksforu if theres anyone you should blame for Caesar's death blame Gaius Longinus and Marcus Brutus there the guys who quite literally stabbed him in the back

  • @wationsfils Palatine hill ring a bell?

  • @Mattavius96 He was not an emperor. He still had to listen to the Senate. Octavian was the first Roman to have absolute control over the empire. He kept the Senate, so it looked like a Republic, but in practice, he was ruler.

  • August ceasar was from Great Britain !!

  • i think the weakness of the romans in the game was lack of light infantry and Calvary. before rome would "upgrade" i would just mass the light infantry units like crazy. i would put them at my flanks in the rear. when the heavy infantry attacked, i would send them around since they could move faster.
