  • i want to do a simple 360 animation like this but with an oval shaped path, as the object im am rendering is long and narrow. But i am running into a problem where the camera view gets distorted when i modify the path from a circle to an oval shape. know what i'm talking about? any ideas as to what i can do?

  • @CommonCollector The impression I get, when you say the view gets distorted,is that perhaps you are applying some sort of stretch modifier to both the camera AND the path? i.e. perhaps it's best to create a circular path, create a mesh modifier, APPLY that modifier to the mesh so that the base geometry is changed, and only then set up the camera to track the path. This is the only thing that comes to mind, HTH.

  • Thanks! I'm actually starting to like Blender! :D
