Lost Winds is a platformer/action WiiWare game for the Nintendo Wii.

In it you play as Toku who is befriended by a wind god that you also control. You combine the powers of wind to control fire, water, and even Toku.

The game has very soothing music, sounds, and graphics.

Easily the best all around WiiWare title.

I give it 10/10!

Released on May 12, 2008 for the Nintendo Wii via the Wii Shop channel.

  • The shopping channel says this is for 2 players....is this true? How does it work?

  • They might as well lie to you, cause the only thing a second player can do is control the wind. aka boring.

  • Yeah I have to agree I mean there are some adult gamers who like games that have cartoonish looks and that have a cute look like Animal Crossing. Tons of people enjoy that series including Adults I may have asperger syndrome but I even know that even adults can like games that have a cartoonish or even not having them. I mean adults should have no shame in liking a game that looks cute and cartoonish if they find it fun. I mean there is no shame in it.

  • And I'm considering downloading the sequel if I can clear enough space and still have Paper Mario Zelda Orcarina (Spl?) of Time and the rest I have on My Wii as well. I also would like to clear some room for Sonic 4 (I like both modern and classic Sonic games and I'm not one the whiny Sonic fans you meet on the internet making Me a minority who enjoys Sonic games from both eras) and also download Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles on My Wii (in order to play S3&K) but I might need more space.

  • Did you try pressing the minus button on your Wiimote. It tells reminds you what your mission is and if it's a map area problem you could try using one of the many visual video walkthroughs of games on Youtube in fact Youtube has so many walkthroughs on it for almost any game and people eventually make some for when they are released. The only problem I ever have with this game is when I haven't played it for a while and have earned some moves I forget how to perfrom the moves I earned *2bcont.*

  • No, it lets you visualize your character the way you want to and makes it easier for the developers to give you tonnes of choices instead of a stupid linear adventure.

  • Don't you hate games that have main characters that don't talk while everyone else does?

But this still looks like a cool game.

  • kinda like super mario galaxy

  • That sucks. Actually the wind part is more fun than the lame walking. Don't get me wrong I like the game, but nintendo needs to start lableling games as 1 1/2 player i/o 2 players. Do you know what I mean? Lableling, is that a word?

  • Sings: "I will never grow, I'm a toys R us Kid"...I'm 26 and honestly playing video games has been a good escape for me. Somtimes I get in trouble since they are addictive. I don't ever want to feel like their is a deadline to seek fun and play games....
