Time lapse video of driving from Zahara Spain to Ronda. If you know this area you will notice that we took the back roads instead of the highway. We wanted to explore a bit on the way to Ronda. Music by Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning used by permission. www.arkmusic.com

  • I really appreciate this. We did the exact same drive, in the same direction during our honeymoon in winter of 2007.

We did a big loop around Andalucia, covering several of the main cities by bus and train, then the smaller white-hill towns, such as these, by car.

We ate at a very fine restaurant in Zahara, we also tried to climb to the tower but couldn't find the way. We then we stayed in a hotel just outside of Ronda, and stayed for two nights. Visited the baths and a museum or two.

  • @stubbler1969 - We also ate at a great restaurant in Zahara. We also had a hard time finding the path to the tower. We parked at the base of the town and headed up the main street. We walked around towards the right side of the hill with the tower and found no way to the top. We then found a great hiking path that followed the base of the hill and was just above the town. This lead us to the left side of the hill where we found the path to the tower. So next time head up the left side!

  • ah, i've found a Spain trecker like myself! But your vid does no justice to the beauty of Spain and its great culture. I've driven in England, Wales, Spain, and Italy. I made a treck from Catania to Rimini, through Rome, Naples and back. If you really want a challange, try the back roads of Sicily! I lost a bumper in Agrigento, and blew a coolant seal in Piaza Armerina. there's nothing better than trecking through Europe. But i go to spain every year, you've given me some ideas!!

  • I know the area quit well. Took most of your spainroadtrips by car / bus and moutainbike and many more(accept the granada one). Love to see it on the vids you took.

    Its great to

  • I love the Ronda aerea, but your vid was so fast that I almost got car-sick...
