As broadcast on 29 February 1960, for ATV's Saturday Spectacular: The Guy Mitchell Show.
Written by Pet's musical accompanist Joe 'Mr Piano' Henderson and her long-time songwriter Jack Fishman, 'Dear Daddy' was thought to have been written about Pet's relationship with her father and manager Leslie Clark. It was issued as a single a few months before this show.

Thanks meehall121 for sharing this lovely video with me. Obviously I would have loved to share this with my father, the lyrics certainly spoke to me. Blessings.

A great "big" fifties ballad that was issued in the U.S. and U.K. showing off a very powerful vocal by a "pre-Downtown" Pet Clark.

Even when she was just starting, Petula Clark just dazzled. Ah, what a lady, and such a performer!
