Yes I am the parent of Lucas who is now eleven. He started playing violin at 3 and a half and did not do the Suzuki method.

This kid is incredible!! His intonation is perfect, his vibrato is great, and his technique is impeccable. I have the sheet music for this entire piece, and it's very technically-challenging.
My only complaint is that the resolution is somewhat fuzzy. I wish this video had better resolution so that I could see his fingerings.

Unfortunately a high resolution of this video makes the mega bites larger than you tube will accept.
