Thank you for your comment. This song means alot to me and meant alot to both my parents. They are in a better place and I know they are smiling down with pleasure at the recent changes in my life. Recent? How about the changes over the last 20 years. To us it is a long time, however, in the grand scheme of things it is but a mere drop of time, when in God's time being infinite, 20 years is a mere flash.

As a veteran, I remember all those who were there before me and after me. My church has a vast military history, and there you will find veterans from all service branches. I was Army and later transferred into the Airforce, one of my best friends at my church was a Merchant Mariner. Each Remembrance Day Church Service our Pastor reads the names from the plaques (2) we have on the walls of those who served in both great wars.
