On the 19th of November 2009, Bandon in West Cork got badly flooded. This video has pictures from the 19th and 20th, both the flood and the after damage.

Well done, Deana. I live in Innishannon and the scale of the damage didn't hit me until I walked into Bandon Office Supplies on Mon morning. Take heart if you're affected - you will survive this.

Thank you for your comment. I know personally BOS was badly affected because our car was parked across the road and it got flooded out and is now off the road. Such a good car gone down the drain (literally) :(
