Become an artist! Learn How to Draw: http://mhlo.co/HowToDrawApp
In this video, Mahalo's Photoshop expert Justin Zagri demonstrates how to integrate a shadow into your movie poster.

Instructions
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. A shadow is a nice effect to help properly integrate your subject into your movie poster. The simplest effects are usually the best methods to use.2. Make sure the subject's layer or Smart Object is selected and click the Fx button at the bottom of the Layers panel. A Drop Shadow is a nice effect, so click that option.3. Change the Size of the Drop Shadow to 18 pixels, and make sure there is no Distance or Spread, because those really don't matter. Press OK.4. Right-click on the Fx button that is now on the layer and select Create Layer. With this new layer created, navigate to the top menu bar and click Edit -- Transform -- Skew. This will give you the ability to change the effect of the Drop Shadow. Use the small boxes that surround the shadow effect to Transform and adjust its direction and length.
