Just a little more information on Bad News

Bad News was a part of the series called The Comic Strip Presents... Featureing Rik Mayall, Ade Edmonson Nigel Planner, and Peter Richardson. (yes 3 of them were in the Young Ones)




The Comic Strip Presents... Featured 2 full length episode of Bad News, where it shows a behind the scenes mockumentry style of a heavy metal band trying to make it big.

That was interesting how you mentioned if Bad News actually came before Spinal Tap. I love Rick and co. so I'm gonna check them out now! I have Neil's Heavy Concept Album on vinyl and the Living Doll 7". That's a really cool numbered Siamese collectable you have there :)

@liznaumann thanks :) yeah Bad News was aired before Spinal Tap, but think Spinal Tap were formed before. Look up Bad News Tour and More Bad News, which is the episode from Comic Strip Present, or look out for the DVD of the collection :) and yeah SD collectable, saw it on Ebay during one of my SP searches

@MrHardekyn didn't really get into music until after the 90's :s Bad News was introduced by a friend that has a mutual love of the Young Ones and Bottom, and told me to check them out.
