Edgewater- Inhale

Edgewater : a singer not in it for show. A drummer called Worm. Two guitarists who seek new socks in every town they visit. And a self proclaimed "outcast guy" for a bassist. Five pieces that don't fit the typical "rockstar" mold— especially when it comes to their innovative sound.
The band's style is not aimed to fit into any particular genre. According to drummer Jeremy Rees, "Our music is like our name. It's got that edge to it and it's crunchy and really thick in the hardest places, but the overlays and melodies flow like water over the top."
Band History

March 1997: Matt Moseman forms original incarnation of Edgewater finding members through various local newspapers and magazines. It was originally a four piece with Matt playing guitar.

March 1998: Micah Creel and Jeremy Worm Rees, who had played together through high school in other bands, replace original drummer and add Micah on guitar.

June 1999: Justin Shorty Middleton leaves 40 Percent to replace other original guitar player.

July 1999: "Self-Titled" record is released locally, and the band begins to headline local and regional venues.

October 2001: Lifter is released and the band begins traveling regionally in support of it and showcasing throughout the country.

January 2003: Ricky Wolking replaces original bass player after playing in many bands including local heroes The Nixons.

June 2003: The band signs a recording contract with Wind-Up Records, joining a roster that included Creed, Evanescence, and other local heroes Drowning Pool.

April 2004: National debut "South of Sideways is released, the first single "Eyes Wired Shut" is added to national radio and is showcased on the movie The Punisher. A national tour follows with bands such as Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Seether, Default, and Alterbridge.

June 2005: The band parts ways with Wind-up and begins writing songs for a future independent release.

March 2006: Mixing and artwork are done followed by a soft release of "We're Not Robots"

August 22, 2006: Full release of "We're Not Robots followed by summer touring.."
