I get this now, can't go back to that PC box anymore. Any idea on how I can fix this? I know this was a couple of years ago, but... maybe you might have an answer now, if you still play this game ^^"

I tried to clone a typhlosion and I have that error now, and when he battles, the screen goes into odd symbols and sounds. Personally, I think it's somehow related to pokemon 731, seeing as though it's an error too

Not true. I've had this done, and it gave me Godly pokemon(meaning they're over level 100). I may post up a video about it, although my Box % has a japanese accent in front of it and it a deletion box. It also allowed me to get a lvl 70 charmander(from my blue) to evolve into lvl 94 Charmeleon then lvl 100 Charizard. Best part, it knows waterfall, comet punch, fire spin and fly.
