hey you're really good. so can I ask you a question? I just ordered a 12-hole tenor ocarina I am already familiar with music reading and scales but I have never played an ocarina did I make the right choice?

Yes, the C alto or tenor is considered the standard size, and is an excellent choice to start with, and 12-hole ocarinas are my preference, because they are intuitive to play and have a wider range than most other ocarinas.
