What's up guys? I'm Jinxblog and you're watching Messores Republicae's video guide on the Hard Mode version of Maelstrom Prison.
X-37 Oppressor Droid has 2 moves which can be avoided by line of sight, Power Blast and Punishment. However, before X-37 channels Punishment, he will pull two party members to him. Party members that get pulled need to get away from him as soon as possible because this move does an enormous amount of damage. In addition, X-37 will use Power Punch on the tank to knock them back. This move does no damage but it will allow him to hit the other group members.
Colonel Daksh has 2 adds on either side of him at the beginning of the fight. DPS them down while your tank works on bringing the Colonel toward one of the two crates in the room. Wrist Laser Burst and Carbonize should be interrupted. However, Carbonize can be avoided by immediately moving through the boss once you are pulled to him. At 75 and 25% HP, Daksh will focus all his power to his optic implants. This is a crucial phase for your tank. Daksh will lock onto the person who had agro and attempt to one-shot them. During this phase the person with agro will have to dance around the boxes to stay out of sight. The 2 DPS should continue attacking the Colonel since he will stay locked onto his target until his implants run out of power. However, if he hits someone once, he will change targets. Since no one should be taking any damage during this time, your healer should top everyone off and try to regain as much energy as possible. As soon as the implants run out, have the tank immediately pick up agro and begin the cycle again. He has a very manageable enrage timer as long as the DPS are able to continue chipping away at his health during the implant phase.
Your next mini-boss is Lord Kancras. He will continuously spawn adds so just ignore them and DPS Kancras down.
If you've done the bonus objectives, you'll get the opportunity to kill the Ancient Maelstrom Flayer. This fight is a quick DPS race since the monster will do large amounts of unavoidable damage to your entire party throughout the encounter.
Lord Vanithrast and his Mutant Maelstrom Shriek are your next mini-bosses. Make sure your tank picks both of them up will your team focuses on burning down Vanithrast before his Shriek. His aoe, Spinning Strikes, cannot be interrupted so your melee members should back away immediately once he starts channeling it. He will also go invisible before stunning and doing damage to a random party member. This will happen periodically throughout the fight and is unavoidable.
Grand Moff Kilran is the final boss of the Maelstrom Prison and he has a few abilities you will have to dodge. The fight starts off with 2 adds on either side of Kilran. These adds will have Guard on him so have to DPS them down first. Once they're down, put as much DPS on Kilran as you can because he will soon pushback and slow your entire party before retreating and summoning adds. During this time, Kilran will have a shield that mitigates damage and will attempt to Snipe and use Series of Shots on party members. Have your tank charge down the middle of the hallway, picking up adds, while your DPS and Healer use the pillars to line of sight Kilran's Snipe and Series of Shots. The DPS should quickly down the adds and maximize damage output once Kilran's shield is down because he will once again push and slow everyone. Have your party make their way up the stairs to take cover behind the crates. The tank should continue around the crates to grab the adds and kite them to a spot where the DPS can safely take them down. Once this last wave of adds are down, it's just a race to beat his enrage timer.
And that's the end of Maelstrom Prison. We hope you've enjoyed our latest video guide and look forward to seeing you again at our next upload!

@EveOnlineAscendancy Thanks for the support! We do have video coverage of a number of HMs and the bosses of the Eternity Vault and are trying our hardest to upload these guides quickly without compromising quality. :)
